If you ever miss a week, that’s okay — return next Monday. The habit is the win.
For most older adults, the best exercise is the one you can repeat.
Two gentle sessions a week often work because they build a rhythm: movement + social connection + a safe routine.

Three years after my retirement, I was not involved in any physical exercises or stretches. But after three years, I began to experience pains in my legs and knees. I thought by using some ointments , the problem of the pains will be solved. But the use of ointment did not solve the problem totally. One day, a friend saw me limping and enquired what the problem was. He then recommended Primary Health Awareness to me and recommended that I should get involved in doing the stretches and the exercises. After a short time of attending the exercises, I started experiencing some relief. I no longer feel the pain as before. The stiffness of the knees and the waist was eased and I could walk quite comfortably. In 2023, I went on a long holiday of almost 8 months. During the holidays, I didn’t have the opportunity to get involved in any physical exercise and when I came back the pains in my legs and upper body resumed and I quickly had to start the exercises again. Now, I am feeling strong and healthy. Because of what I’ve experienced, I got to know that lack of exercise makes the joints of the body weak and stiff and makes walking difficult. I shared this knowledge with a few friends who were suffering from arthritis. They are also testifying how much they are benefiting from the exercises. Primary Health Awareness is helping a lot of people, especially the elderly to get their health back. Secondly, one good area of this organisation is the educational part. The leaders organise healthcare personnel to come and give talk on some very important health issues, like diabetes, high blood pressure, arthritis, and many others. Many of us are very happy about this education . Primary Health Awareness is helping many people to improve their health and to keep healthy and live longer. It is also educating people on primary Health issues and how to care for themselves and also to help other people live healthy and longer in our society. Because of the benefits Primarily Health Awareness brings to our society, I would like to suggest that it should be kept going for the health and longevity of our people.

I take this opportunity to say how much primary health awareness health has been a savior tome all the years I have suffered with athritis primary health awareness exercises and its sitting down exercises are what has kept me out oat ofpush chair till now because orginal physiotherapy never made any sitting down to do same exercise by sitting down where as pri.health did util now that I can stand to do a lot of them. Again when I unfortunately fell victim of stroke one time the very exercise the medicals wanted me to do were so easy for me so much so that they wandered who I was or what i do until I told them of my twice a week invovolvement since we started and on my own at home. Again through the dietitians recent teachings has shown that athrities is caused by poor diet and ignora nt mixiñg of wrong diets which at the end cause most of the joint and tissue problems we have which are referred to as as athritis hence my recovery invol es Learng more about diets and which once go together and safe for our health. My prayer is that primary health awareness will continue to be funded to continue its good work

I was introduced to Primary Health Awareness Trust about 3years ago after suffering from stroke From the time l got to know of Primary Health Awareness Trust, l started participating in the Zoom exercises on Wednesdays and Saturdays. As my health condition has severely impacted on my mobility, the exercises has helped and continues to do so. I also join in sometime with the health talk which are all l find very beneficial. As someone with mobility issues and not able to go out unaccompanied, l enjoyed the talks as well as seeing people’s faces and the sharing knowledge and laughter. The occasional evening talks on different topics has been uplifting. Above all being visited at home by Georgina with one or two members of group have been encouraging. Keep up the good work Georgina and all those involved in keeping the group going🙌🏾 My sincere thanks to everyone. Without you, l 1don’t know where l would have been 👏🏾

I have been part of the exercise group for over four years and it’s one of the best decisions I have ever made. I have always had joint problems which stop me from doing some chores. There were times it was so bad that it affected my life but since I joined the group my health condition has improved and I am able to do day to day chores easily. I have also learnt a lot from the health talks. I have changed my diet and I can see the benefits. I have introduced family members and friends and they have all benefited from it.

I joined the Primary Health Trust a couple of years ago because the person behind it was my former manager, who invited me to take part. From my past experience, I knew that whenever Georgina became involved in community work, it was always for a good cause, and she would do the diligent groundwork needed to research its feasibility and potential benefits. So I wholeheartedly joined the group, which by that time was already the product of many years of hard work and the combined efforts of several dedicated individuals, all led by Georgina. Since becoming part of the group, I have benefited from a wealth of information on various health and wellbeing topics delivered through online seminars, lectures, and study groups. In addition, the regular exercise sessions, designed to suit every age and level of ability, have been incredibly valuable for me and for many other members. But the greatest benefit of being part of the Trust is the genuine sense of belonging it brings. It creates a space where no one feels alone, whether in moments of joy or difficulty. It’s wonderful to celebrate the successes of people close to you, and equally important to be able to turn to others for support and advice in hard times, knowing you are surrounded by people who care. And we all know how essential that sense of belonging is for overall wellbeing. I truly hope that the Trust will continue to thrive and welcome new members in the years ahead. ❤️❤️
Before You Use This Prompt (Please Read)
This prompt is a writing helper. It helps you organise your thoughts into a clear, respectful summary you can take to a health professional.
It is not medical advice, it does not diagnose, and it must not be used to start, stop, or change medicines.
Where to use it:
✅ In ChatGPT (or another trusted AI writing tool) to generate a short “support summary”.
✅ Then copy the final summary into a note on your phone, a printed page, or an email for your GP practice.
✅ You can bring it to a GP appointment, a pharmacist, a physiotherapist, an NHS 111 call (non-emergency), or a social prescribing conversation.
How to use it safely (simple steps):
- Copy the prompt and paste it into your AI tool.
- Fill in the brackets like [your symptoms] and [your goals] using your own words.
- Read the output slowly. Remove anything that feels incorrect or too strong.
- Keep it brief and honest. If you are unsure, write: “I’m not sure, but I noticed…”
- Take the final version to your appointment or call.
Important: If you have severe chest pain, sudden weakness on one side, difficulty breathing, a suspected stroke, heavy bleeding,
or you feel seriously unwell, call 999 or go to A&E. For urgent advice when it’s not life-threatening, use NHS 111.
Privacy note: don’t include bank details, passwords, or anything you wouldn’t want stored. If you prefer, use first names only.
Free AI Prompt: “NHS-Ready Support Summary”
This helps you create a clear, respectful summary you can take to your GP, pharmacist, NHS 111 (non-emergency), or a social prescribing link worker —
without exaggeration, and without medical advice.
Act as a calm UK health admin assistant and social-prescribing coordinator.
Goal:
Help me write an NHS-ready support summary that is (1) accurate, (2) brief, (3) easy for a clinician to scan.
Do NOT give medical advice. Do NOT tell me to start/stop medication.
My routine:
– I attend Primary Health Awareness Trust Zoom sessions:
• Wednesdays 10am UK: chair exercise / Zumba
• Saturdays 10am UK: physical health exercise
• Mondays 7pm UK: weekly community talk (legacy & practical life topics)
– My current ability level is: [1–2 lines]
– My main goals are: [balance / stiffness / mood / confidence / social connection / mobility / routine]
What improved recently (if any):
– [sleep / walking / stairs / pain levels / anxiety / appetite / energy / mood / falls confidence]
What changed or worries me:
– [new symptom / breathlessness / dizziness / swelling / pain flare / falls / memory changes / fatigue]
Support I might benefit from (choose only what fits):
– medication review, physiotherapy, falls assessment, blood pressure check, diabetes review, social prescribing, mobility aids advice, carer support.
Output format:
1) A 150–180 word summary paragraph
2) 5 bullet questions to ask the clinician
3) A final “red flag” line: when to use NHS 111 vs 999/A&E (UK wording)
4) A gentle note that community routine supports wellbeing but does not replace NHS care.
Always speak to a qualified professional before changing medication, diet, or exercise — especially if you have a long-term condition.
